How we handle your information, the cookies we use, and how to raise a concern. Written plainly, without legalese where we can avoid it.

Privacy notice

Lumina Dental & Aesthetics is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect personal information you provide through our enquiry form — your name, contact details, and the treatment you are interested in — only to respond to your request and arrange care.

Our lawful basis for processing a booking enquiry is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract for care. Where we contact you for marketing, we rely on your explicit, unbundled consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We practise data minimisation: the form collects only what is needed to call you back. We retain unfulfilled enquiries for no longer than 90 days. Clinical records, once you become a patient, are kept on encrypted, regulator-compliant software for the period required by professional guidance.

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond within one month.

Cookie policy

This website uses only the essential cookies required for the site to function. We do not run advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we do not load analytics that profile you.

If we introduce analytics or marketing pixels in future, we will first present a granular consent banner so you can opt in to each category. Until then, no consent banner is shown because no non-essential cookies are set.

Complaints procedure

We want every visit to meet a high standard. If something falls short, please tell us — most concerns are resolved quickly and informally by speaking with the team member involved or our practice manager.

For a formal complaint, write to our practice manager by email or post. We will acknowledge your complaint within three working days and aim to provide a full written response within twenty working days. If a matter needs longer to investigate, we will keep you informed of progress.

If you remain dissatisfied after our response, you may escalate to the relevant dental regulator or healthcare ombudsman, whose details we will provide on request.
