Lumina Dental opened in 2007 as a small two-chair practice. Eighteen years on we are a team of seven specialists, three hygienists and an aesthetic nurse — but we have not changed the thing that mattered from day one: an unhurried, kind, expert hour with you.
Our story
Built on hours, not minutes.
Dr. Lena Okafor founded Lumina with a simple stubbornness: no twelve-minute check-ups, no rushed cosmetic prep, no upsell scripts. New-patient appointments are a full hour. Cosmetic consultations are ninety minutes.
It is a quieter way to run a practice, and we like it that way. Our patients return for decades, and they bring their families with them. That is the only review that has ever really mattered to us.
